抄録

In this study, the water soluble cutting fluid including the fine bubbles was applied to the cutting with end mill. The milling experiments was carried out with the range of cutting speed from 40 to 160 m/min in order to investigate the effect of the fine-bubble coolant on the tool wear in end milling of the carbon steel. As a result, the tool wear was suppressed by using the fine-bubble coolant comparing with the conventional coolant when the cutting speed was 100 m/min. There was no distinct difference in other condition of cutting speed.
