Abstract

<p>This article introduces how to use the “Graphic Image Park” and how its graphic image search system works. The Graphic Image Park is an assistant tool to efficiently search existing registered designs that contain graphic images. By just doing “Drag & Drop” your own graphic image design onto this tool, existing registered designs will be displayed in the order from those with more common characteristics to less, according to the automated data evaluation based on an image matching technology. Graphic Image Park has the function which extracts the characteristics of the graphic images such as shapes and colors as numerical values. Using these numerical values for comparison allows the tool to evaluate the degree of commonality between graphic images.</p>
