抄録

<p>Metal Additive manufacture (AM) will contribute to the manufacture of complex shaped products such as injection molds having complicated water cooling pipes and aircraft parts. On the other hand, the AM component requires the conventional cutting and grinding processing because fabricated component has a rough surface. However, it has been found that metal AM materials have different material characteristics compared with those of conventional materials. Thus, the machining characteristics of metal AM material will also show the different trends. Therefore, in this report, the grinding characteristics of maraging steel made by metal AM were investigated from the viewpoint of grinding force, surface quality and tool wear.</p>
