- 勾玉型断面を持つ垂直軸風車ブレードの開発
Abstract
<p>In this study, a new blade which has a Magatama-type section for VAWT is proposed. This blade can be operated under low wind speed and low tip speed ratio circumstances. It is found from the numerical analysis and the wind tunnel experiment that the double blade turbine generates 4 times larger power coefficient as compared with the former blade wind turbine. It is found from the field experiment that high power coefficient is obtained at a relatively low tip speed ratio that is around 1.0. The blade which has a Magatama-type section for VAWT is suitable for VAWT that can be operated under low wind speed and low tip speed ratio circumstances.</p>
