Abstract

This presentation focuses on severe local storm accompanied by developed cumulonimbus such as tornado in Bangladesh, and reports annual variations of them. The study shows that annual variation of the severe local storm occurrence day has increasing trend from 1962 to 2016 accompanied with a change in increase and decrease. The annual variation of the thunderstorm days reported in the previous study is consistent to the variation of severe local storms, and this result indicates that the activity of cumulonimbus is likely to become active year by year, and the thunderstorm and severe local storm are likely to increase.
