Abstract

In winter season, the dew is condensed in some underfloor equipment of Shinkansen trains running through cold districts. We consider countermeasures for this dew condensation through having a stationary test. For this test, we made a box imitating one of under equipment. Component of this box can be changed, and we investigated effects of rubber packing components, electric heater and insulating materials.
