<p>In this study, we were aiming to develop a totally new type of power prosthetic hand, which can be equipped with both light and convenient characteristics at the same time. In terms of the actuators design, we all finally chose to adopt the SMA in the study, which has a higher output weight ratio than other actuators, making efforts to try to realize the goal of creating a power prosthetic hand with the light and small convenience that can be hidden in the palm of the hand through the round-trip mechanical movement of the SMA.</p>
