Abstract
Tomuro volcano was formed in the east of the Kanazawa area around 0.4Ma, and consists of four lava dome edifices mainly and is accompanied by the thick lava flows. About 18 ka, a sector of the lava dome edifice collapsed.<br>In the Tomuro volcano, we can see ancientl quarries of Tomuro-ishi used in the stone walls of Kanazawa Castle. Migration of quarries with the times is identified. I am going to take a topic about the relations with the quarrying area and the geological map of Tomuro volcano.<br>
