Abstract

<p>救急隊員が使用できる自動式人工呼吸器は，救急業務実施基準により救急車に搭載可能であるが，救急救命処置に位置づけられておらず使用について齟齬が生じている。そこで，救急救命処置に自動式人工呼吸器の使用を位置づけるために，全国251の地域メディカルコントロール協議会（以下，MC協議会）に自動式人工呼吸器の使用方法などのアンケート調査を行い，課題を抽出した。228 MC協議会のうち226 MC協議会が自動式人工呼吸器を使用している消防本部を管轄していた。44 MC協議会で非侵襲的陽圧換気法（NPPV）にも適応としていたが，自動式人工呼吸器のプロトコルは228 MC協議会中6 MC協議会しか作成していなかった。自動式人工呼吸器使用の教育は173 MC協議会で行われていたが，専門性の高い医師や臨床工学技士による教育はごく少数であった。救急救命処置に自動式人工呼吸器の使用を位置づけるためには，教育内容や適応，プロトコルの策定，事後検証などの指針を示す必要がある。</p>
