<p>OHT (Open Hole Tension) test analyses of CFRP laminate were performed by FEM using interface elements considering cohesive zone model (CZM), which models delamination. For modeling matrix cracks, either cohesive element or Continuous Damage Mechanics (CDM) was employed. Damage propagation analyses for a rectangular laminate specimen with a hole were conducted by explicit finite element method using mass scaling. The results including relation between average stress and strain, and damaged region obtained by both models were compared with the experiments.</p>
