Abstract

In this paper, we propose a method to control the way of encoding by H.265/HEVC for 8K UHDTV moving pictures. This method estimates the amount of motion by the external process, and sets the search range of motion vectors. It also selects intra prediction for the movies with random motion. By this method, we achieved high efficient and low load encoding.
