Abstract

<p>Massive introduction of low-carbon energy leads to depressed electricity market price. The stagnation of electricity market price decrease capital investment in power generation including low carbon energy. This paper analyzes the future power generation mix and the electricity market price with the optimal power generation mix model. Then, based on the estimated market price, we analyze the power generation capacity taking into account their profitability in order to describe the mutual impact of the power market and capital investment.</p>
