Description

Patient of atopic dermatitis had visited Toyotomi town since around 2000, and the number of patients has been increasing. At this region, transition of patient acceptance could be divided into three periods. At first period, administrative organization had created patient accepting system. Though, this period was difficult for patient to behave in town since community was only constructed between patients. At next period, private firm had provided service and event. Due to this decline, the community had built. Also patient who immigrated started to contribute to region. At last in third period immigrated patient is contributing to town independently. This case confirms that peers support covers the cure of dermatitis but also livelihood in the town. In order to enhance the sustainability of health tourism, it is necessary to incorporate system that accept former visitor as a human resource, who bear reception of new patients.
