Description
<p>With the influence of COVID-19, online education has attracted much attention. The practice of online education is increasing, and its effectiveness is being recognized. In terms of future issues are how to develop the possibility of online education in special needs education. We focused on “inclusive education” as one of the keywords for the development of online education. The basis of the inclusive education system is where students of all abilities learn together in the same classroom environment. It means students with and without disabilities. In that sense, the US system is helpful since US legally requires the provision of a standard education curriculum for children with a disability. In this paper, we explicate the possibility of online education in Japan in terms of the inclusive education system in the United States.</p>
