Description
<p>Recently, the loss of vegetation by disposal of unsaleable vegetables and deforestation has been increasing every year and has become a global environmental problem from the viewpoint of an increase in the environmental load. In the environmentally friendly energy field, new renewable energy sources are strongly desired in addition to solar, wind, geothermal power generation, and so on. In order to solve these problems simultaneously, we have focused on the attractive advantages whereby leaves produce oxygen and hydrogen by photosynthesis and create beautiful architectural space with natural green color, and have produced “Photosynthetic architecture”. In the present paper, the energy-generation mechanism, and the concept and actual examples of photosynthetic architecture are presented.</p>
