<p>1 歳，女児。乳児早期発症てんかんで治療中であったが，けいれん発作のコントロールが不良で臭化カリウムの内服を開始した。内服開始 2 カ月半後に四肢に紅色丘疹が出現し，膿疱を伴う紅色局面に進展した。病理組織では表皮内に好中球の浸潤，真皮では全層にわたって膠原線維束に分け入るような好中球の浸潤があり，とくに毛包周囲や毛包上皮への好中球の浸潤が顕著であった。血中臭化物濃度は 91.8 mg/dl と高値であり，臭素疹と診断した。臭化カリウムを減量してステロイド軟膏の外用で皮疹は軽快した。内服減量により皮疹が軽快したことから，臭素疹の機序はアレルギー性ではなく，用量依存性に発症する機序が推測される。</p>
