<p>Sliding property of water droplet prevent accidents caused by heavy snow on the roof. It is not well known that water droplet falling behavior. In our laboratory, we focused on sliding velocity of water droplet on tilted silicone sheet and frictional force between water droplet and the silicone sheet. An equation of motion was used to calculate the sliding velocity and the frictional force. From previous research, it was known that the frictional force is equivalent to force of the gravity. The sliding velocity and the frictional force increase when tilt angle was large. It was found that the sliding velocity and the frictional force correlate. In this research, we investigated the correlation between the sliding velocity and the frictional force on condition that the silicone sheet with micro bump. There was the correlation between the sliding velocity and the friction force on this condition same as the silicone sheet without micro bump. Smaller contact area between water droplet and the silicone sheet, the higher the sliding velocity. From the result, it was found that there was correlation between the contact area and the frictional force.</p>
