Abstract

To improve mood and relieve tension, the effect of a smile is known as one of the techniques that can be practiced or played in a game. In this study, we focused on the psychological effects by conducting training program of smiling and investigated the relationship between them. Four students from A-University were targeted in this survey, and performed a training program to prepare to smile in advance for a week and then conducted the interview. Furthermore, we compared the photos of the smiling faces of participants before and after the survey and analyzed the changes in the facial expressions of smiling using "FaceReader (Noldus)". As a result, it was revealed that the two subjects felt the psychological effects of training in the interview. Also, participants said that a facial expression changed before and after the experiment. However, in the interview, some improvement points were found about a training program of smiling treated in this study, and there is room for future study.
