<p>A diesel explosion was generated using a compressor used in an air conditioner, and the internal pressure of the compressor, the strain of the outer shell, and the fracture mode were investigated. The internal pressure due to the explosion rises rapidly and the cylindrical body of the compressor tears in the axial direction. This is considered to be the result of the tensile stress in the circumferential direction of expansion of the cylindrical body due to the increase in internal pressure. Lubricating oil ignites in the lower space of the compressor, and the pressure rises in the order of the lower space of the compression chamber and the upper space, and the pressure rising speed is faster in the upper space. It is speculated that the pressure vessel broke due to the ignition wave at the lower part of the compressor, the compression waves reflected in the process of propagation of the deflagration wave, strengthening each other to generate a deflagration wave, and the pressure rose sharply. The diesel explosion of the compressor is presumed to occur by the same mechanism as the premixed combustion explosion, and the safety measures corresponding to this were examined.</p>
