Abstract

In this study, for the purpose of developing underwater grout, experiments were conducted regarding various fluidity, underwater separation and compressive strength of cellulose ether mixed grout using cellulose ethers with various molecular weights and chemical structures. As a result, it was experimentally confirmed that the compressive strength of cellulose ether mixed grout is affected by the fluctuation of air content due to the mixing of the cellulose ether and the defoaming agent, but the influence of the difference in the molecular weight and the chemical structure of the cellulose ether on the compressive strength is small, and that there is a high correlation between the viscosity of the aqueous solution of cellulose ether, various fluidities and the pH value.
