Abstract
The COVID-19 situation that emerged in 2020 forced many schools to offer online classes. However, many of these classes could not be fully implemented for a variety of reasons. The private elementary school where I work was fortunate to be able to implement online classes because the school was close to the full adoption of the Global Innovation Gateway for All (GIGA) school program. I also conducted online classes at a university, and based on the results of these experiences, I carried out a presumptive study of the educational effects of online classes. Because the definition of online classes was not fully clear, a classification was carried out, by which, the classes were divided into four categories. The responses to questionnaires provided to the students after the classes were used to make a presumptive assessment of the educational effects of the online classes. Ways to effectively use online classes in the future were also examined.
