<p>In order to clarify the relationship between community activities and small-scale settlements in elementary school districts, we conducted a questionnaire survey to community building conference of each districts in Tamba area, Hyogo Prefecture. The results show that community activities were divided into three groups based on implementation rates and mutual relationships, and it was expected that some implementing entities could change from a single settlement to settlement coordination or an elementary school district in the future. Moreover, tendencies of small-scale settlements in elementary school districts were divided into four groups, and it was confirmed that some community activities tend to be carried out, by an elementary school district, in the group that has the most progress in small-scale settlements.</p>
