Abstract
We developed a model for designing cooling systems of Hybrid Vehicle Transaxle. Of the model coefficients, we must obtain thermal resistance experimentally, but it is difficult to measure because parasitic thermal resistance in measurement setup influences the result. Here, we report how we solved the problems and could calculate motor temperature precisely with the model. It will help to facilitate and optimize the designing of future cooling systems.
