Abstract

<p>To investigate the industrial recovery of the Miyagi Prefecture after the Great East Japan Earthquake, we created an interregional Input–Output Table for three periods: (1) before the earthquake, (2) immediately after the earthquake, and (3) two years after the earthquake. In this study, we focused on supply chains, which have a significant impact on industrial recovery. We used APL functions for interactive analysis, including visualization tools.<br>The results showed that some of the industrial economy in the affected areas returned to the pre-earthquake transaction structure at an early stage.</p>
