<p>咳は，胃食道逆流症（gastroesophageal reflux disease：GERD）の食道外症状の1つである．本邦でのGERDの有病率の増加に伴い，GERD咳嗽も増加傾向で，慢性咳嗽の原因として，咳喘息と共に頻度が高い．一方で，胸やけ等の典型的な食道症状を伴わないことも多く，咳の罹病期間が長期に及び，生活の質を低下させる．診断に難渋することも多いが，Fスケール等の質問票の活用やPPIに加えて消化管運動機能改善薬の併用がGERD咳嗽の診断・治療に対して有用な可能性を述べる．</p>
