説明

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between dietary habits, defecation habits, daily rhythms, and intestinal microflora among parents who send their children to a nursery school.

The subjects included 61 parents who have children in a nursery school at K town in F prefecture. The survey period was from December 2015 to April 2016. Their dietary habits, defecation habits and daily rhythms were examined based on a questionnaire and the intestinal flora was also analyzed using stool samples.

Among the nutrients, it was clarified that the proportion of Bifidobacterium was high in the bacterial group in which the group with a high vitamin K intake was estimated. Those who got up early and those who had early breakfast had significantly higher Bifidobacterium rates compared to those who did not.

Those who woke up early and ate breakfast early and whose intake rate of natto a containing a lot of vitamin K had a higher proportion of Bifidobacterium. These results suggest that it is effective to maintain a regular rhythm of daily life and to have natto with the meal in order to have a good intestinal environment.
