Description
<p>In this study, we empirically analyze the impact of the entry of foreign firms by business establishment such as sales office, factory, and laboratory on the productivity of Japanese listed manufacturing firms. Using the data on the prefectural location of foreign firms by business establishment, we especially investigate the horizontal spillover effects brought about by the entry of each business establishment, considering geographical proximity.</p>
