The purpose of this study was to investigate macronutrient intake of male collegiate Rugby players. Dietary information was obtained with a food frequency questionnaire. Energy, carbohydrate, protein, and fat intakes were examined. The results showed that energy, carbohydrates, and fat intakes were adequate. However, protein intake(1.1 ± 0.3/kg BW)and protein energy ratio(10.6±1.8%)appear to be slightly lower than the recommended targets for athletes.
