In my book, A Literary Study on the First Dauidic Psalter, Shinkyo-Shuppansha 2006, I have pointed out a motif of the "de-Temple-Ideology" in the Psalms 3-41. In this paper I have attempted to find the motif in the Psalm 145, the final Davidic Psalm. At first I have argued the textual criticism on a so-called n-line (v. 13^n) of the Psalm, written in LXX, Peshita, and 11QPs^a, but not found in the Masoretic text. From my point of view, that is, 11QPs^a shows the preceding form of Masoretic, I have supposed that redactors of the Psalter have deleted v. 13^n. V. 13^n forms an inclusion with v. 10, under the keywords hsjdjm and bkl-m'sjw. B. Lindars (1989) has indicated in his structural analysis that the strophe vv. 10-13^n is the center of the Psalm. I have accepted his understanding and considered that the strophe strengthens the Temple-Ideology with the inclusion. From this viewpoint I have drawn a conclusion that the redactors of the Psalm and the Psalter have cut v. 13^n out from the original text of Ps. 145 to decrease the Temple-Ideology. In the subsequent text they have emphasized an expression of "all" (kl) to manifest the addressees of JHWH's hsd, that is not merely hsjdjm, but "all". "All flesh" (kl-bsr) means shoulders of JHWH's hsd in the world, namely readers of the Psalter. At this point we can find "de-Temple-Ideology" in the Psalm. Then I have concisely analyzed the context of Pss. 138-145, the final Davidic Psalter, referring the hypothesis of Erich Zenger, proposed in Biblische Zeitschrift 41 (1997) and Journal for Old Testament Studies 80 (1998), and examining the motif of antagonists of Psalmists. In the conclusion I have underlined a significance of further investigation on the contextual study for the final Davidic Psalter.
