Abstract

We developed an analytical method for accurately determining the concentrations of dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in a blood volume of 5 g. Inter-laboratory cross-comparison is available for maintaining the quality of dioxins and PCBs analyses. We carried out the cross-comparison of dioxin and PCBs analyses in the blood with domestic analysis organizations. Two cross-comparison studies each of dioxins and PCBs analyses were carried out from 2012 through 2015. As a result, the findings of our analysis accorded well with the analyses of the other organizations. It was found that our analytical method is sufficiently reliable.
