葛飾区教育委員会は，2015年度から栃木県日光市にある区の宿泊施設で1泊2日の中学生対象イングリッシュキャンプを実施している。2016年度のキャンプでは，宿泊施設に近い日光東照宮を散策し，英語でALTを案内することが主な活動であった。本稿では，「葛飾区イングリッシュキャンプ」のプログラムについて報告し，宿泊型研修での観光地案内の実践を通して，参加生徒がどのような力をつけたかを検証する。

A two-day English camp for junior high school students has been held by the Katsushika Board of Education since 2015. The author of this paper has developed the programs for this English camp held in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture. The main activity for this year’s camp was to guide ALTs to Nikko Toshogu Shrine, which is a World Heritage Site. This paper intends to examine the activities introducing one of the most famous sight-seeing spots in the Kanto area and offer suggestions for designing a curriculum for junior high school students to introduce the Japanese culture in English.
