Description

In this paper, our purpose is to show how the motives of altruism among university student volunteers change through self-reflection and their relationships with others. Therefore, using autoethnography based on an intensive “researcher in the loop approach,” we analyzed our own experiences and internal reflections as university student volunteers, employing the TLED method. In this study, we explored the “N-shaped model” of altruism, which entailed being dependent on others as volunteers. There were highs and lows during the activities and different levels of awareness were achieved.
