Description

This paper analyzed the effect on jobhuntingof interactions between university students and their parents using a nationwide survey. As a result of the analysis, we confirmed that there are three aspects (Consultation, Interference, Trust) to their interactions. Consultation and Trust interactions increased university students' satisfaction with and trust in their parents. On the other hand, Consultation and Interferenceincreased their consideration for their parents' wishes. It is possible that this consideration lead to an increase in their mental burden. In the end, we confirmed that only Trust has a positive effect on the outcome of job-hunting. Based on the results of the initial analysis, we can state that students having an excessive consciousness of their parents' wishes find the job-hunting process more difficult.
