The purpose of this study was to make the pattern for predicting continuation of sport behavior and to analyze its affecting determinations and the interrelationship between the continuation and the healthy degree, by examing sport behavior, behavioral intention, sport consciousness and the relation of those variables on 366 male university freshmen. The main results were summarized as follows: (1) It was shown that a correlation of behavior, behavioral intention and consciousness toward sport was remarkable. (2) It became clear that continuation of sport behavior was able to predict by means of the pattern made of three variables, i. e., sport behavior, behavioral intention and sport consciousness, which resulted from the Diagnostic Inventory for Sport Counseling (DISC). (3) The patterns to be the closest correlation with continuation of sport behavior were those of behavioral intention, belonging to sport club and sport consciousness. In addition, it was made clear that the continuation remarkably correlated with the present sport conditions, beliefs toward the expectation of significant others and the evaluation for social and mental effects of sport. (4) In terms of "well-being" scale in the healthy degree, persons who continue to do sport evaluated the most higher than the opposites. Also, they highly evaluated scales in other physical, mental and social healthy degrees. (5) On the basis of above results, we were clear to be able to lead and advise the effect of continuation of sport behavior, what the problems about the continuation are and the predict of it by means of using the DISC, and consequently considerd how to lead to continue sport behavior.
