In this paper, the author tried to study each sub factors of the anthrophobic tendency through examining the differences in the aspects of personal space according to anthrophobic tendency. Projective method was used to measure personal space by examinig the ideas of “area” and “distance”found in the definition of personal space. Subjects were 39 men and 62 women (19-39 years old) recruited from a lecture in a university and　other sources. Analysis 1 examined the changes in each side projective personal space test according to the “acquaintance level” of the other person. Next, to see how these results varied according to the degree of each sub factors of anthrophobic tendency, analysis 2 was carried out. From the result, each sub factors of the anthrophobic tendency was considered. Above all, it was suggested that the interpersonal distance at the interpersonal scene were not parallel to psychological distance of the person who had high degree of the factor of “the worry that he/she cannot fit into the group ”or” the worry that anxious about oneself and other people”. Furthermore, it was suggested that the factor of “the worry of cannot control oneself” effects the function of “kanjinsei of high dimension”(Yamane, I., 1987) at the interpersonal sceans.
