Description
This research examined the durability performance of high strength and high quality concrete in the sulfuric acid acidity soil where the pH value was about 4~5. The outdoor exposure test was carried out in Kirishima Hot Spring zone for ten years. Although the corrosion was observed at only 1-2mm from surface, but the sulfuric acid ion invaded in deeper layer steadily. On the basis of these results, the degradation model was shown.
