"Rumination" can be defined as "thinking repeatedly" about a certain event. This study was examined from the aspect of the content of the event, time course, and mental occupation level about the phenomenon of "rumination". The difference in the rumination on negative events and positive events, and the difference in the ruminationover the time course were examined in study_1. The relation to the frequency of rumination and the mental occupation level were examined study_2. The results showed that at the time teh event occured, it was easier to ruminate on a negative event and to be preoccupied eith it than to do the same with a positive event. However, as time passes, it is easier to ruminate on a positive event than on a negative one ; moreover, this change is also more sensitive.
