抄録

The purpose of this study is to investigate what kinds of contents improve quality of the child care through the evaluation of education program by the class teachers. We analyzed the descriptions of the evaluation by five kindergarten class teachers, and also obtained information through questionnaire in order to evaluate their program. The contents of descriptions were classified into four categories; one of which was a description about unexpected events. The results of the questionnaire show that teachers felt some difficulties to describe children especially their mental growth. It is very important for the teacher to be able to support the children flexibly when unexpected event happen. This study suggests that the description of the evaluation by the teacher about unexpected events will improve quality of child care.
