本研究は，現場の教員レベルで授業と家庭学習をつなぐことを意図して，英語の教科書に基づく教材を開発する場合に，どのような知識がどのようなプロセスで身に付いていくかについて，論述したものである。具体的な方法としては教員経験者が受講する大学院での授業実践の中で日報（毎週のレポートメール）の振り返りを用いた質的分析と，日報のテキストデータを用いたテキストマイニングによる解析を用いた。それらの比較の結果，質的な分析に加え，定量的な分析の可能性を示すことができた。

This study reports on the process how graduate students acquire the knowledge when they develop the e-Learning system for English teachers based on a textbook which is intended to connect a class to home learning. Comparing the qualitative analyses of the daily reports which were written by graduate students including two English teachers and the quantitative analyses of its text mining, the potential of the quantitative analyses was pointed out in addition to the qualitative analyses.
