Abstract

In this paper, the researchers analyzed the results of a survey given to students and parents about how parental support is developed through the relationship with guardians at a childcare open space (support square) operated by a junior college.Through the results of first- and second-year students, and their differences in image, thought, and engagement, it became clear that the ability to support child development has gradually been fostered through the relationship with parents. The understanding of childcare support depends on the understanding of the guardians and the utilization of regional resources. From now, based on the new curriculum, the question is how to promote cooperation between these subjects such as childcare support development based on the practice held at a childcare open space.
