Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review the literature of Japanese care workers' early turnover. In this paper, I focused on wages and reality shock in their work environment. Especially, reality shock is an important factor, because the rate of turnover within one year is very high among them. Several causes of reality shock which care workers suffer were discussed.
