This paper reports the results of the Ikuno Ward Elderly Survey conducted in 2017. Although surveys and field research have been conducted on Zainichi Korean elderly living in Ikuno Ward, no survey has been conducted on a sample representing the entire population of the elderly in Ikuno Ward, including Japanese. In order to accurately grasp the actual condition of the elderly people of foreign nationality, it is necessary to conduct a survey including Japanese elderly people. In this study, we used a mixed research method that combines a sampling survey and a life history interviews. This time, network and health were mainly analyzed. As a result of the survey, it was found that Zainichi elderly have low incomes and have more income other than pension, and that the closer the network is to relatives, the more depression tends to occur, and Zainichi elderly have a stronger effect on this tendency. From the life history interview, the following three points were found: 1)Jeju Island network, 2)original care network, and 3)limitations and problems of the system.
