現在，製造業は熾烈な新製品開発競争下にある。製造業はグローバルな顧客ニーズに対応するため，リードタイムの短縮と永続的な品質保証が求められている。即ち，生産性と品質という，相反する尺度を追及していくことが求められている。日本の生産現場は，伝統的に継続的な改善活動を繰り返し，生産性と品質を向上させている。改善活動において，方法研究は生産性向上に適用され効果を発揮する。本研究は品質を考慮した方法研究の活用について考察する。Today, manufacturing companies have an increasing competition in terms of new product development for the global market. To correspond to the customer’s needs in the global environment, manufacturing companies must sustainably implement the production by decreasing lead time without compromising quality assurance. Accordingly, manufacturing companies must achieve two measurements to correspond to a world standard of quality and production which are: operation efficiency and product quality. Japanese manufacturing companies have been the subject of a KAIZEN-oriented approach. With a KAIZEN-based approach method study should be applied to influence operation efficiency. This study proposes a framework for operation design focused on quality in the manufacturing company.
