真理とは何か。子どもたちの目を「真理」そのものに向けることは,哲学教育にとって重要なことである。真理について考えをめぐらすことによって,子どもたちは,事物の真の在り方に気づき,事物に対する自らの姿勢を持つことができる。そのような哲学教育の可能性を探ることが本論文の狙いである。そのために本論文では,ハイデガーによるプラトンの「洞窟の比喩」解釈を参照し,「隠れなさ」という彼独自の真理概念を手がかりにする。まず,その解釈の概要を提示し,続いて,「洞窟の比喩」を資料にして中学生に行った授業実践を紹介し,最後に,基礎的な哲学研究を具体的な授業実践に応用する際の様々な問題点を考察する。

In philosophical education, it is important to make children reflect on “truth." The purpose of this paper is to explore the possibilities of philosophical education on the theme of truth. For this purpose, we first examine the interpretation of Plato's “Allegory of the Cave" by Martin Heidegger (1889-1976), in which he proposes a unique concept of truth “unhiddenness." Next, we introduce an experimental class that Sato, one of authors, offered at a junior high school, using “Allegory of the Cave" as teaching material. Finally, we discuss the various problems of how to apply profound philosophical doctrines to practical classes for high school students.
