Description
ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29 /WG 1 is standardizing still image coding technologies. The standards contain bi-level image coding methods and multi-level image coding methods. In this report, multi-level image coding standards such as JPEG, JPEG 2000, JPEG XR and JPEG XT are reviewed by their algorithm, easiness of implementation, and compression performance.
