Daikin Information and Communications Technology College (DICT) is an in-house college that aims to develop digital human resources within the company, where competition for them among companies is intensifying. We have defined three types of human resources: business innovators, data scientists, and system architects in order to promote advanced digital transformation, and we are currently implementing a plan to develop 1,500 digital human resources company-wide by the end of FY2023.<BR> DICT provides education for each level, from new employees to executives. In particular, the course for new employees features two years of education and practice of digital technology without being assigned to a department for two years. About three and a half years have passed since the opening of the college, and recognition both inside and outside the company has been steadily increasing. We hope to continue to lead the company-wide digital transformation through this initiative.
