小学校で問題化している食生活の乱れを解決するためには,食の発達課題と考えられる離乳さらには社会食べの確立に大きくかかわる給食の影響について調べることが必要であると考えた。そこでともに5歳児を保育し,定期的に給食を実施していない幼稚園に通園している児の保護者および定期的に給食を実施している保育園に通園している児の保護者を対象に調査を行い,今までの食習慣および現在の食習慣について比較検討を行った。

In order to solve disorder of the eating habits which occurs at a primary school, it is required to investigate the role of the developmental task such as ablactation and regular providing lunch. A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the effect of regular providing lunch before entering a primary school. We compared eating behavior of two groups. One of them was a group of children who experienced regular providing lunch at nursery school. The other one was a group of children who did not experience regular providing lunch at kindergarten. Parents of the children were asked to evaluate 12 eating behaviors. About supper time, kindergarten children were significantly earlier than nursery children. On the other hand, nursery children helped to set the table very well compared with kindergarten children. It was thought that regular providing lunch is effective for the manner of eating with other people.
