Abstract

The present study is the second part of a series of reports on the crabs collected by the KH-72-1 cruise of the RV Hakuhō Maru from the seas of East and Southeast Asia. In this report, 16 species of 14 genera in 10 families of the crabs collected in the depths of the Timor Sea, 295–690 m, are recorded. There were no species common to the Sulu Sea and Sibutu Passage in the Philippines recorded in the first part of this serial report on the crabs collected during the KH-72-1 cruise.
