<p>This study deals with Neko tsugura, a traditional local product of Sakae-mura. Sakae-mura has a population decline and an aging problem. In addition, rapid industrialization has led to the dissolution of traditional rural communities and a decrease in local resources for traditional crafts. In this study, after discussing 'Neko tsugura' as a local resource of 'Sakae-mura', we discover the charm and value of Sakae-mura's Neko tsugura, which was created from the straw culture. By rediscovering and re-recognizing Sakae-mura's unique lifestyle, it prevents the loss of traditional local culture.</p>
