2002年の中央教育審議会答申では、学生ボランティア活動やインターンシップを大学カリキュラムにとりあげることが提言され、それにあわせて、各大学では学生ボランティア支援の活動がすすめられている。本学においては、地域社会と専門職現場・大学が融合的に関わりあって、地域全体をひとつの総合的な「まなびの場」にしていこうとする「あしんキャンパスシティ」構想が公表され、幼児教育学科では、その趣旨から、公民館における学生ボランティア活動を展開しはじめた。本稿では、本学における学生ボランティア活動が、中央審議会答申における「幅広い教養教育」の枠だけでなく、専門職としての実践研究に貢献し得る可能性があることを事例から紹介し、今後のカリキュラム化への見通しを検討した。

In the Central Education Council Report in 2002, it was proposed to take up the student volunteer work and the internship in university curricula. Activities to support students' volunteer are encouraged at each university. At our college, "Ashin Campus City" plan was made public. This is a plan by which the community, professional workplaces and college are united, and adjust the entire region to one overall "Scene of learning." The Early Childhood Education Department in our college started students' volunteer work in a public hall for that purpose. In this text, we verified that the students' volunteer work is not only worthy as the human nature promotion but also accomplishes the contribution to the community, and that it is useful for the practice research as professionals.
